First Notice – Warning Letter
Second Notice – Letter sent and account holder must return documentation saying they received the notice. This documentation must be returned within 14 days of the date of the letter to avoid suspension of service and applicable reconnect fees.
Third Notice – Letter sent and account holder must return documentation outlining steps taken to prevent further copyright infringement within 14 days of the date of the letter to avoid suspension of service and applicable reconnect fees.

WISPs:
WISPs must have a copyright infringement policy in place for their customers. If they have a customer abusing the policy, they must send proof of customer notification to Peoples in response of our copyright notification to them. Without proof they are addressing the abuse with their customer, we will take steps to penalize the WISP until the issue is addressed and corrected: throttling, etc.
Business with Public WiFi:
Should a business customer offering public WiFi receive a copyright infringement letter from Peoples, they will be expected to present documentation of addressing the issue. Businesses are encouraged to – limit WiFi access to business hours only; choke back the WiFi speed to discourage downloads; change password.
